Jayne, who lives in Gamlingay, became an Independent Member of the Police Authority in October 2008. Her academic qualifications include a Masters (MA) in Criminology from Middlesex University and a BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Greenwich. Jayne previously worked for the Metropolitan Police Service and the Music Industry (IFPI) as an Intelligence Analyst. Her reason for joining the Police Authority was to ensure that Cambridgeshire residents get the type of Police Force that they deserve.
