Ruth, who lives in Linton, became a member of the Police Authority in October 2008.
Ruth says that her reason for joining the Authority was to help promote its important work and to encourage young people as active citizens in our communities whilst promoting their worth and value.

Ruth has lived in and around Cambridge for 30 years and previously worked as a Civil Servant in the Home Office. She is now involved in local activities, working with schools, the charity sector and the European Union where she helps to support work particularly related to children and young people.
