Ansar Ali
Ansar became a member of the Police Authority in October 2008.

Ansar has three grown up children and lives in Peterborough with his family. He says he joined Cambridgeshire Police Authority because he has a desire to help shape the police service which is responsive to the needs of and has the confidence of all the communities it serves. A police service which works in partnership with its communities and other agencies to make Cambridgeshie safer.

Ansar has 25 years experience of working in local government, is a former Cambridgeshire County Councillor and Justice of Peace. He has worked as a freelance broadcaster for BBC Cambridgeshire.
