Your Neighbourhood

Each member of the police authority is responsible for engagement in a set policing area. The areas chosen usually correlate with where a member is a councillor, or where they live, and ensures the members already have an understanding of the key issues facing the community.

Members regularly attend Neighbourhood Panel meetings at which officers set the local policing priorities for an area.
