People's Priority
"Anti-social behaviour with an emphasis on speeding and parking outside schools."
The People's Priority was set after 2,700 people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough were surveyed about the issues that matter most to them. The initiative, driven by Cambridgeshire Police Authority in conjunction with Cambridgeshire Constabulary, was a first for Cambridgeshire. The priority formed a key part of the Local Policing Plan 2010-13 and was passed on to the 31 neighbourhood teams throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough for positive action.
The priority was supported once again by members of the public who attended 27 budget consultation and priority setting meetings across the force area in early 2011. It has been included in the 2011-14 Local Policing Plan.
